About Josephine Karl PA-C

Josephine Karl was born and raised in West Texas in the city of El Paso where she did her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at El Paso.  She later obtained her degree of Bachelor Science and Physician Assistant Studies at the University Texas Medical Branch in 1989.  Initially she pursued a career in orthopedic surgery for 16 years specializing in spinal surgery where she enjoyed being able to assist patients to achieve their fullest potential through combined efforts of surgery and rehabilitation.

She later switched to her second point of interest in dermatology where she has been working for the past 12 years.  She has found working in the field of dermatology even more rewarding working diligently in the screening and prevention of skin cancer, as well as, dermatologic conditions such as treatments for acne and psoriasis.
